Aberdeen man climbs Mount Everest

HE STEPPED over dead bodies and fellow mountaineers were killed before they could reach the 29,029ft peak of  Everest.But Aberdeen man Allan Thomas was one of the lucky ones to conquer the worlds highest mountain.
Despite unbearable temperatures of around -30C and collapsing due to swelling on the brain caused by a lack of oxygen, Allan reached the summit of the world.
